COACHING REQUIREMENTS
All Green Local Schools coaches are required to have the following in place before coaching a team:
  • Complete a satisfactory background check
  • Complete CPR training, with AED use included
  • Complete Sports Medicine training
  • Complete the NFHS coaching certification program
    (those with a supervisory certificate must complete this when renewing after 12-31-09)
  • Ohio Pupil Activity Permit (click here to download an application for the permit)
No one is allowed to coach in any game unless he/she has first completed the requirements above, regardless of board approval (which will specifically state "pending completion of requirements").

Anyone interested in coaching should complete an application (available on the district website) and submit it to the athletic director at the high school. Go to the high school office and ask Sara Patten (HS secretary) to place the application in Tate Skinner's mailbox. Any application submitted to anyone else will be re-directed to the athletic director first.
